Bienrock helps financial institutions find MiCA-authorised crypto-asset service providers (CASPs) for EU-facing products. If you do not hold your own EU crypto-asset services authorisation, we help assess a partner-led model where the authorised provider delivers the regulated services within its permitted scope.
Discuss your requirements →We compare providers against your use case, target EU markets and integration requirements. Availability depends on the provider’s authorisation, cross-border permissions and operating model.
Assess providers for custody and administration of crypto-assets and for crypto-asset transfers on behalf of clients.
Explore crypto-to-fiat and crypto-to-crypto exchange options. We map the crypto and fiat legs separately, including which entity handles payments and settlement.
Assess API integration, client onboarding and service disclosures. In a partner-led model, the CASP provides the regulated services and its role must be clear to clients.
Review the provider’s authorised activities and the EU markets it can serve. We compare those permissions with the services and countries you want to support.
We work with financial institutions planning to add crypto services to an existing product or enter EU markets with a regulated partner.
For EMIs and payment institutions assessing crypto custody, exchange or on/off-ramp infrastructure alongside their fiat services.
For money services businesses (MSBs), money service operators (MSOs) and major payment institutions (MPIs) assessing a partner-led EU model. A home-market licence or registration does not itself confer MiCA permissions.
For businesses comparing embedded crypto infrastructure, provider integrations and the operational responsibilities each party would take on.
Define target markets, customer types, crypto-assets, fiat flows and the services your customers need.
Check provider authorisation and service scope against your requirements, then assess technical and commercial fit.
Map who contracts with clients, handles onboarding, provides each regulated service and manages settlement. Use that map to review the proposed model with the provider and legal advisers.
Support provider discussions, due diligence and implementation planning. Each provider makes its own onboarding decision.
A CASP’s authorisation cannot be lent or transferred to a partner. A partnership can be structured so the authorised CASP provides the regulated services itself. If your business would carry out regulated crypto-asset services, assess what permissions it needs for that role before launch.
An EMI licence does not automatically cover all crypto-asset services. Article 60 of MiCA provides a notification route for certain services involving e-money tokens the EMI itself issues. Other activities need a separate assessment of the relevant permissions.
We check the entity and authorised service categories against official records, such as the ESMA MiCA register and the relevant national authority’s records. We then review whether the provider can support your target markets, assets and proposed client flows.
Bienrock provides consultancy and provider selection support. The authorised provider delivers the regulated crypto-asset services under the agreed model.
Tell us which services you want to offer, where your clients are based and which permissions you already hold. We can help you assess whether a MiCA-authorised partner fits your plans.
